I am an Italian-American and enjoy food on special occasions. My fellow life defenders agree. Each outreach event in Waco includes a meal together, providing a time for laughter and fellowship.

Most foot soldiers wear our red Life Saver T-shirt. These draw attention and spark conversations in restaurants. On several occasions, I have been asked, “Could I have one?” The answer is “Yes."

For overpass outreach, we head to Jason's Deli after returning our signs to the billboard truck.
"It’s a Baby Waco" is at Planned Parenthood Waco from 8 to 10 AM. At 9 AM, we break for hot breakfast tacos and tasty desserts.

Pharmacy outreach at CVS and Walgreens has brought us McAlister's Deli, Panera Bread, and Golden Corral.

Once or twice a year, we have out-of-town excursions, usually to protest a Planned Parenthood fundraiser in Dallas, Austin, or Fort Worth. Denny's has worked well on the way back to Waco.
